What SutraKnit is
SutraKnit is a sourcing desk. We help buyers develop and produce yoga apparel programs with verified partner factories in two Chinese apparel clusters: the Yiwu seamless knitting cluster in Zhejiang and the Humen cut and sew cluster in Dongguan, Guangdong. The desk is operated by FULVERA.
The people we work with are emerging activewear brands, yoga and pilates studios building a retail corner or teacher uniforms, boutiques, e-commerce sellers, wholesalers and distributors, and companies ordering wellness merchandise. What they have in common is that they need garments made to a specification, under their own brand, in quantities a large factory sales team often does not prioritize.
What SutraKnit is not
We want this to be clear from the first message, because it changes how you should read everything else on this site.
- We are not a factory. Garments are made by partner factories. The factory assigned to your program is named in writing before sampling starts.
- We are not a stock wholesaler. We do not hold inventory of finished yoga wear to ship from a warehouse.
- We are not a testing laboratory or certification body. We help select and arrange tests; reports come from laboratories, and certificates are held by mills or factories.
- We are not a design agency. We help turn references into a workable tech pack, but brand creative and artwork belong to the buyer.
What the desk does
| Stage | What we do |
|---|---|
| Brief | Clarify styles, quantities, dates and branding; propose a route per style |
| Factory selection | Match the program to a partner factory checked against our vetting steps |
| Development | Support the tech pack, fabric sheet, lab dips and sample rounds |
| Confirmation | Put MOQ, lead time, labels, packing, inspection and ship date in writing |
| Production | Follow progress, coordinate in-line checks and the final random inspection |
| Delivery and after | Documents, issue reports, reorders |
The full sequence is on the production process page, and the factory checks are on sourcing network.
What the desk does not do
- We do not publish prices. Every program is quoted on its fabric, construction, trims and quantity. The cost drivers are explained on yoga wear pricing.
- We do not promise MOQs or lead times outside the written terms. Reference ranges, such as 100-300 pcs per style per color for cut and sew and 300-500 pcs for seamless, are typical figures, confirmed in writing for each program.
- We do not make medical, therapeutic or body-shaping claims about garments, and we discourage buyers from making them.
- We do not claim certificates, audits or test results that have not been shown and checked.
- We do not publish client names or testimonials. Our program examples are illustrative.
How the desk is paid
How SutraKnit is paid for a program is set out in the written agreement for that program, before any sampling starts. We do not describe a standard fee model on this site because programs differ, and the written agreement is the reference. If anything about the arrangement is unclear, ask before you commit.
Why a desk instead of going direct
Many buyers can and do source directly, and our guide to finding a yoga wear manufacturer is written for them too. A desk is useful when you need both routes in one program, when your quantities are small enough that a factory sales team responds slowly, when you want someone checking samples and inspections close to production, or when you need the documents organized so that reorders and compliance requests are simple.
The trade-off is that a desk adds a party to the program. We try to make that worthwhile by putting decisions in writing early, naming the factory, sharing inspection reports before shipment and saying no when a request does not fit the routes we work with.
What to expect in the first exchange
The first reply to a brief is a set of questions as often as it is an answer. We usually ask which styles are fixed and which are flexible, the lightest color in the range, whether you already have a tech pack, how you plan to label the product for your market, and the date the goods must arrive. From those answers we propose a route for each style, the typical MOQ range that applies, the tests worth considering and a sampling plan. If a request does not fit the two routes we coordinate, for example a fabric or construction neither cluster suits, we say so rather than stretching a factory beyond what it does well. Starting that conversation does not commit you to a program, and nothing becomes binding until it is confirmed in writing.
How we work
- Written first. MOQ, lead time, price, labels, packing, inspection level and ship date are confirmed in writing before bulk.
- Route before supplier. We choose seamless or cut and sew per style, then the factory.
- Evidence over claims. Certificates are verified by number; capacity figures come from the factory profile; examples are labeled illustrative.
- Plain language. Spec sheets and product claims stay factual and supportable.
Contact the desk
Email mark@fulveraglobal.com or call +86 155 5551 5351. The operations office is in Yongjia, Wenzhou, Zhejiang, China. For a program enquiry, the fastest route is to send a brief with references, quantities, colors, branding and your target delivery date. General questions can go through the contact page.
We reply with a proposed route for each style, the reference MOQ for your fabric and construction, and a sampling plan. Nothing is final until it is confirmed in writing.
